Read and Get Rewarded (Maybe)! Week 3

Good morning. I am writing this post at 2106. If you do not know what that means, look up “military time” in an search engine. Please comment enough so this post has more than Reece’s post, so I can win and SHARE the winnings with (some of) the people who commented(Eighth Grade Priority!). It may look as if there are no words here, but highlight this spot to see good stuff. You will want to see because it might give you rewards for doing stuff… (I’m not kidding). 😉

Who Would’ve Thought?

You can store power, in a rod! Check out Boom Beach, a game of strategy made by Supercell. It’s pretty cool!

Post #² Grandma’s B-Day

My grandmother’s birthday was on January 15th, a Friday. My family and I all celebrated at my auntie’s big house out in Kaneohe. It was on Saturday though, so my uncle and I watched the Packers game… sad. 🙁 We were all bummed out that the Packers gave up the Super Bowl, but we all had a good time.

We ate vegan that night because my grandma is vegan. Vegan means that she doesn’t eat anything animal-based, such as eggs, fish, meat, and other stuff like that. Not even cow milk. We had some Ka‘iulani(pronounced kah-ee-yoo-LUH-nee) Curry Rice, a bowl of Veggie Chicken-Enchilada soup, some kind of Chinese noodles, and Stuffed Squash. Those who think vegan and vegetarian food is gross, think again! This stuff is awesome. We had a vegan, gluten-free chocolate cake, which was kind of crumbly but not all that bad, and a non-gluten-free cake that had a really sweet, orange filling nobody liked.

After, we watched some Bob Ross painting shows on Amazon Prime. He was a really great painter who made the painting up as he went on his show.Where We Stayed In San Francisco Apartment Through AirBnB A.Currell via Compfight

This is Bob Ross, and here is a close variation of one of his paintings. It is not the actual one because the actual looks different. The mountains are much more centered, and there are more trees on the right than the left, but this is very nice.

XBox One or PS4? (or Wii U?)

There has always been a dispute between the XBox One made by Microsoft and the PlayStation 4 made by Sony (and the Wii U made by Nintendo ;D). This dispute has been going on for some months now, with the PS4 pushing 30 Million sales and XBox One… I don’t really know whats happening with them.

I don’t know which one to choose between XBox One and PS4, but after looking at a few websites, I learned that the PS4  has a slightly better overall gaming experience.   Comment your opinion, but put a reason please. I personally like Nintendo the best.

Here are two sites that may help with your opinion on which one you like better.

http://segmentnext.com/2016/01/08/xbox-one-vs-ps4-comparing-exclusives-that-have-sold-over-1-million-copies-so-far/

http://www.valuewalk.com/2015/12/playstation-4-vs-xbox-one/

The first one talks about the hit games that sold over a million copies on that platform while the second looks at more of the software itself and what is better about each aspect. The third one is about the best Wii U games to play if you have or are planning to get a Wii U.

SBC Week 10:1 Farewell, People!

  2. All 20 were school based, actually.
  3. I received SO many comments (1).
  4. My first post. It got all of one comment.
  5. “Hey, What Time Is It?” because it talked about the imperfection of humans.
  6. No, because I like my chalkboard theme.
  7. I have a very many. 14 to be exact.
  8. I have two class blogs on my blogroll.
  9. I… Actually don’t know.

I interviewed my mother. Here’s what she said.

  2. “The color.”
  3. “Um, I don’t know.”
  4. “Just keep working at it.”

http://grace2015rm.edublogs.org/2015/11/25/christmas/

Hi Grace,
Christmas is a very happy time of year for most people(I’m one of them). I am very excited about Christmas. I live in Hawai’i, so we don’t get too much snow, but a little up on Mauna Kea on the Big Island at 10,00 feet above sea level. A few years ago my family and I went to visit relatives(my mom’s sister married someone there) in Wisconsin. It was probably the coldest place I’ve been so far. I loved Christmas there! I hope this is a good Christmas for you, too!

http://saviong.edublogs.org/2015/11/19/why-dont-hamburgers-have-a-home/

Hi Savion,
First of all, Go Packers! Second of all, I have never thought of that. Why don’t they have a state? If you look at this photo I guess you could say California.http://www.bing.com/images/search?q=gold+hamburger&id=76783A3F970135042D19C791E61E471B8DFF93CB&FORM=IQFRBA
If you don’t get it, it’s Golden State Cafe. They look good, though I’ve never eaten there.

SBC Week 7:1 Hey, What Time Is It?

That’s the thing about nature. Time is just an illusion we face everyday. Only the present is, well, present. The past is just recorded memory and the future does not exist.

The most real feeling of “present” time has no duration and can’t be measured in units.  That is what real time is.
